Sumitomo Chemical's Olyset Net was the first long-lasting insecticidal net (LLIN) to be submitted to the World Health Organization Pesticide Evaluation Scheme (WHOPES) for evaluation, and remains the only LLIN which has passed all four stages of the evaluation process confirming efficacy and longevity. Olyset is the only LLIN to have a full WHO recommendation.
